), recently acquired the assets of Rules Services Company, a 52-year-old publisher of court and agency rules. Like Pike & Fisher, the Rules Services Company has a number of publications that track regulatory developments at the Federal Communications Commission Federal Communications Commission (FCC), independent executive agency of the U.S. government established in 1934 to regulate interstate and foreign communications in the public interest. .

P&F president Joe Hecker said the purchase solidifies P&F's "commitment to provide the communications law market with a full range of products and services, and, in addition, will open the way for P&F to expand into other areas like patent and trademark and local court rules."
