An article in the July 1926 issue of The Playground described the parade scene where children lobbied for more playgrounds in Bloomington, Ill.:

"Parading for Playground. The school children of Bloomington, Illinois Bloomington is a city in McLean County, Illinois, United States that is its county seat as well. A 2006 special census indicated that the population was 74,975 [1]. , turned out en masse en masse
