The 84th PMA International Convention and Trade Show returned to Las Vegas, Nev., Jan. 31 to Feb. 2, where it provided a global forum for imaging industry education, ideas, and insights. PMA 08 provided attendees with ideas and solutions for increasing the profitability of their businesses by offering customers more ... more products, more services, and more experiences.

Each year, retailers, photofinishers, portrait studios, imaging centers, framers, scrapbook retailers, photographers, labs, manufacturers, and suppliers come together at the PMA Convention. PMA 08 was about getting business owners to take charge of their futures and to look for new opportunities.

As the imaging industry transitions into new markets, products, and services, PMA 08 was the place to be to see what is on the horizon in business and technology. On the trade show floor, more than 650 exhibitors displayed the newest imaging trends and technologies that will shape the way people interact with and share their images. There were also more than 200 educational sessions held during and just prior to PMA 08.

PMA 08 offered attendees the opportunity to evaluate products and services on the trade show floor in the DIMA Digital Printer Shoot-Out area, the DIMA Photo Kiosk Shoot-Out area, the DIMA Innovative Product exhibitors, and the DIMA Photo Book Showcase.

Next year, PMA 09 will run from March 3-5 in Las Vegas, Nev.
