Practice Partner(R) software offers complete integration of practice management and clinical information, and has helped thousands of practices migrate towards a paperless practice environment. In connection with this endorsement, the two organizations also announced the formation of a unique strategic alliance.

"Physician Micro Systems has an impressive record of working effectively with physicians. This is due in part to their unique understanding of physicians' individual needs and the fact that physicians need an organization that can, and will, customize and deliver an automated system that works well for their specialty practices," said William Carbone, AAPS's Executive Director. "In addition, PMSI has a distinct advantage in that its founder is a physician who truly is aware of physicians' needs. This, coupled with a track record of trust, commitment, expertise, service, and excellence serves as a harbinger har·bin·ger

PMSI, with its decade of experience in the physician's office, will provide information to AAPS members about office automation and productivity enhancement, for both the clinical and administrative sides of ambulatory practices. PMSI will also offer a members-only discount on PMSI's products and services to all AAPS members. Both companies will coordinate delivery of the partnership announcement and other relevant information to their respective clients through periodic newsletters and brochures.

"We are very pleased that the AAPS has recognized the quality and value that Practice Partner software will bring its members," said Dr. Ury, PMSI's President. "Electronic medical records and integrated practice management solutions are an important part of the future for all physicians. We look forward to a long-term partnership with the AAPS."
