Formerly open to licensed physical therapists only, the estimated $460,000 in Foundation funding awarded each year will now be available to licensed physical therapist assistants on a competitive basis. Physical therapist assistants who reside in a state that does not require licensure licensure

 are eligible to apply but must provide a certificate of completion of study from an accredited accredited

recognition by an appropriate authority that the performance of a particular institution has satisfied a prestated set of criteria.
