Neville to tour the facility and meet guests including
transplant candidates and recipients.

WHY: Family House is an independent not-for-profit 501 (c)(3)
organization and the largest hospital hospitality house in the
nation. A special "home away from home" for adult patients
and/or families who must travel to Pittsburgh for treatment of
serious or life-threatening illnesses, Family House offers an
affordable, comfortable and supportive environment which does
much to ease the emotional and financial burden that frequently
accompanies long-term illness.
During his tour, Sen. Santorum will meet and speak with a
variety of guests including transplant candidates and
recipients. His visit coincides with National Organ and Tissue
Donor Awareness Week (April 16-22). Senator Santorum has been a

operates a total of 97 guest rooms at three facilities in the
Oakland section of Pittsburgh. Patients from a number of local
hospitals including, UPMC See Ultra-Mobile PC. Health System, the Oakland Veteran's
Administration, Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, and The
Western Pennsylvania Hospital, are accommodated each year.
Ground-breaking for a much needed fourth facility to be located
at 5245 Centre Avenue in Shadyside will take place in May, 2000.
