Phonetic Systems and V-Enable launch two voice-activated multimodal apps with wireless.

 Systems, a provider of speech recognition solutions, and V-Enable, a developer of mobile multimodal Two or more modes of operation. BIZFINDER and SAY IT. TONEFINDER allow callers to use simple voice commands to download information, directions and ring tones, rather than having to triple tap buttons to enter the text. SAY IT. BIZFINDER is a multimodal directory assistance application that will allow callers to search, find and locate business listings nationwide by simply speaking their input. As well as having the same abilities as directory assistance, it can retrieve driving directions, maps, place calls, etc. SAY IT. TONEFINDER allows users to search, select and download ring tones using their voice. For example, now users can speak the name of the artist or song title and retrieve the ring tones that match their input, instead of having to type in the text on a small keypad A small keyboard or supplementary keyboard keys; for example, the keys on a calculator or the number/cursor cluster on a computer keyboard. ), a scalable speech recognition engine, and V-Enable's veANYWAY multimodal solution, which enables services to combine the flexibility and richness of data services with speech command's ease of use. SAY IT. BIZFINDER and SAY IT. TONEFINDER are currently available on BREW-enabled phones.
