Omron will use Philsar's RSP's to add wireless communication to its product line. This includes a worldwide agreement to market Philsar's Multi-Purpose RF transceiver (MuRF), a single chip Radio Signal Processor for two-way wireless data communication.

The two companies have defined this innovative single chip transceiver for wireless applications requiring cost effective communication links, such as mobile and handheld computing computing - computer  devices, security systems and remote sensing applications A remote sensing application is a software application that processes remote sensing data. Remote sensing applications are similar to graphics software, but they enable generating geographic information from satellite and airborne sensor data. . Omron plans to use the MuRF chip in a broad array of applications in combination with its automation, medical, and sensing technologies.
