MaxCat(TM) CRT helps refineries manufacture the additional octane barrels needed for clean fuel production from existing semi-regenerative catalytic reformer units. The flexibility of this technology allows refiners to reduce coke buildup on catalyst, thus increasing octane barrels, run lengths and unit throughput. MaxCat(TM) CRT yields these benefits at very low capital costs - as little as $20,000 for most refinery applications. MaxCat(TM) CRT has gained commercial experience at seven different units. In one example, it improved the product octane by 1.5 research octane numbers over previous runs, with the unit operating at comparative conditions.
