Philips Medical Systems and ADAC Laboratories Announce Preferred Vendor Contract with Premier.

SHELTON, Conn. and MILPITAS, Calif., Aug. 15 /PRNewswire/ --

Philips Medical Systems, a leading manufacturer of diagnostic imaging equipment and services, and ADAC Laboratories, the world market share leader in nuclear medicine systems, today announced they have signed a multi-year preferred vendor contract with Premier, one of the nation's largest healthcare alliance enterprises. Premier cited Philips' and ADAC's strong histories of providing quality imaging products and services as one of the main reasons for their selection.

Under the terms of the contract, Philips along with its ATL ultrasound division, and ADAC will offer their complementary lines of diagnostic imaging systems to Premier's 1,700 member hospitals and healthcare systems. Philips will supply cardiac and vascular x-ray systems, radiography and fluoroscopy (R/F) systems, ATL ultrasound equipment, surgical C-arms and Inturis(R) for Cardiology and Radiology, the company's integrated image and information management systems. ADAC will offer its C-PET Plus(TM) positron emission tomography (PET) system and its line of nuclear medicine imaging systems.
