Philippines : THE REAL BANK appoints Jose Nograles to board of directors.

The Real Bank has appointed former President of Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) to its board of directors following his selection as one of its independent directors.

Jose C. Nograles has enormous experience in investment banking and finance, in addition to experience as one of Philippines financial regulators. As the President of PDIC, Nograles led the channel of amendments to PDIC's charter, at the height of 2008 financial crisis, helping it to play more proactive co-regulatory role with Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) is the central bank of the Republic of the Philippines.
