Conversion Resources is a processor of non-ferrous metals and specializes in the management of resource recovery programs for industrial clients. Warrenton refines copper scrap into copper ingots and other customer specific shapes. Annual revenue from these operations is over US$100 million. Closing of the transaction is expected to occur on or before February 14, 1997. Conversion Resources separates copper, brass and aluminum from contaminants, processes and markets these non-ferrous metals to tube mills, brass mills, foundries, specialty consumers and copper refineries. At the Warrenton refinery, copper scrap is processed into prime copper ingots and wirebars.
