(Who, What, When & Where).The Phillips Foundation this month announced the winners of a record $232,000 in merit-based scholarships for the academic year 2003-04 under its Ronald Reagan Future Leaders Future Leaders is a UK schools-led charitable organisation that aims to widen the pool of talented leaders especially for urban challenging secondary schools. It was founded in March 2006 by Nat Wei, a former founder of Teach First. Scholarship Program. Established in 1999, the Program offers renewable and one-time scholarships to "college undergraduates who demonstrate exceptional achievements as leaders on behalf of freedom, American values, and constitutional principles." There were 36 new scholarship winners and 17 students who received scholarship renewals. Awards ranged from $10,000 to $1,000 for both renewals and one-time grants.
