Philadelphia Rubber Group.
The Philadelphia Rubber Group will hold its winter technical meeting January 19 at the Valley Forge Valley Forge, on the Schuylkill River, SE Pa., NW of Philadelphia. There, during the American Revolution, the main camp of the Continental Army was established (Dec., 1777–June, 1778) under the command of Gen. George Washington. Hilton in King of Prussia King of Prussia, industrialized suburban area (1990 pop. 18,406), Montgomery co., SE Pa. It has glass and steel fabricating, food processing, printing and publishing, and varied manufacturing (textiles, liquified petroleum gas, water-treatment and electrical , PA. Featured presentations will include, "OneSlab: Improvements on the Cureblend concept," John Douglas and Tim Higgins, Rhein Chemie; "Observations concerning peroxide vulcanization vulcanization (vŭl'kənəzā`shən), treatment of rubber to give it certain qualities, e.g., strength, elasticity, and resistance to solvents, and to render it impervious to moderate heat and cold. ," Pete Dluznescki, Geo Specialty Chemicals; and "Rubber process oils," John Nutter, R.E.
