Philadelphia's Antra Records Signs Distribution Deal With Artemis Records/red Distribution.

PHILADELPHIA--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Sept. 21, 1999--

ANTRA Records (OTC BB: RECD, Berlin Stock Exchange WSRI) has joined forces with one of the music industry's top players Danny Goldberg and Artemis Records. Inking their first distribution deal with one of today's rising urban music forces, the partnering of Artemis and ANTRA establishes a needed presence in urban music. Goldberg comments that "Joseph Marrone has quickly fashioned ANTRA into a focused urban force and I am excited to be in business with guys who are close to the street while also understanding what it takes to win in the music business."

This deal enables ANTRA to retain exclusive ownership of all master recordings and ANTRA has already begun to build a substantial catalog of music. The first release for ANTRA will be double platinum Tha Dogg Pound member Kurupt with his solo LP Tha Streetz is a Mutha due to drop on November 2nd of this year.

ANTRA has also entered into an agreement to produce and distribute the soundtrack for Academy Award-nominated actor Laurence Fishburne's directorial debut ONCE IN THE LIFE distributed by Artisan Entertainment. Principal cast members include Gregory Hines, Annabelle Sciarra, Eamonn Walker of HBO's "Oz" and Titus Welliver of "Brooklyn South." The soundtrack will feature cuts from Macy Gray, Branford Marsalis, Organized Noize, and Philly's own DJ Ran along with new tracks from ANTRA's Kurupt and The Spooks, along with producer Daz Dillinger and a handful of other multi-platinum artists.
