, RN and Christine Fernandez, BSN, RN have been appointed Vice Presidents and Co-Regional Directors and bring over 40 years of combined experience in therapeutic apheresis ('TA") to the Company. The opening of the Midwest region is a part of the Company's strategic plan to build the nation's most comprehensive, contract mobile TA network.

Ms. Golden was responsible for the development of the therapeutic apheresis program at Kidney Disease and Critical Care Associates serving the Minneapolis and St. Paul areas, which grew to more than 1,500 procedures per year. Ms. Fernandez was involved in the development of the Hematopoetic Cell Transplant and Therapeutic Apheresis Programs at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Medical Center and has implemented and monitored several apheresis and hematopoetic transplant programs in the Chicago area. From 2002 until recently, Ms. Fernandez was the National Director of Operations for Therapeutic Apheresis with Fresenius Medical Care Extracorporeal extracorporeal /ex·tra·cor·po·re·al/ (-kor-por´e-al) situated or occurring outside the body.
