UPS recently announced its certification of the Pfastship-2000 System that provides the means for Pfastship's customers to electronically connect with UPS.

With Pfastship's PfastAccess Host Integration interface to UPS, customers will be able to take advantage of the new capabilities and value-added services that can only be provided through electronic connectivity.

The package information transmitted to UPS from the PfastAccess software will be combined with in-transit and delivery information captured within the UPS network. This enables UPS to offer value-added information back to our mutual customers.

Reference number tracking is a prime example of improved information access with connectivity to UPS. Both your customers and theirs will be able to track package status with the utilization of an invoice or other internal numbers as a compliment to the UPS bar code.

In addition, this system includes a paperless manifest process which helps organizations control both labor costs and streamline their shipping process.
