Peter Watkins: "boring handyman extraordinaire".

So, well, here it goes. How old are you?

Twenty-one, just turned.

Sweet. Legal age now, huh? How many bars you been to now that you're of legal age?

Locally? I don't know Don't know (DK, DKed)

"Don't know the trade." A Street expression used whenever one party lacks knowledge of a trade or receives conflicting instructions from the other party.
. Bunch, I suppose.

Drink of choice?

Guinness.

Very good, very good. So you've been working a lot?

Yeah, construction; boring handyman extraordinaire ex·tra·or·di·naire

.

Oh yeah? Whom do you work with?

Usually my best friend Nick. I've known him since I was three, but he moved out of town so I'll probably be working with his cousin.

Has nothing to do with your dad?

No. My dad's a graphic designer and I was never good with computers so manual labor has been the way to go this year. It's the wave of the future.

You've escaped the chopping block cut, so I've heard.

Yeah, I guess so.

What do you have to say about that?

I guess I'm stoked stoked

; I'm just trying to film a video and not think too much about that.

And work at the same time. The working man's hero, right here.

Yep, nine to five.

How many trips have you been able to go on this year?

I've been lagging. Only been on one and a half this year, actually.

Where?

Went up to San Francisco San Francisco (săn frănsĭs`kō), city (1990 pop. 723,959), coextensive with San Francisco co., W Calif., on the tip of a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, which are connected by the strait known as the Golden , CA, and screwed up my ankle, and then was supposed to go to Oregon. So, getting hurt, I had to go home early. But I got to go on a three-day shred with the homies This article is about a toy series. For the slang usage, see Homie.

Homies are a series of 2-inch figurines loosely based upon Chicano (Mexican American) characters in the life of artist David Gonzales.
, though. Fun things like that, just with the friends. No cameras; all fun, hit all the parks.

You're leaving today.

Yep, driving to Florida. But at least I'm flying back.

Yeah, you're not in my shoes at least. How's the truck treating you?

Classic. Ninety-two Toyota pickup. Change the oil and it keeps on running.

Ed Dominick: Yo, what kind of board do you ride?

Uh, eight?

Ed Dominick: No man, what size surfboard? The waves down here are epic.

Lance Conklin: Beat it! Anyway, take a good look at your home for the next week and a half.

Oh yeah. The Ford Econoline, can't go wrong.

Remember Vancouver?

Oh yeah. Broken into for change. A dollar-50 worth of change!

And guess what window.

The big-ass most expensive one!

Yep, not the little one. The huge one, for change. Thanks vagrants of Vancouver!

Yeah, thanks buddies. Remember that weird heroin street? What was it? Hastings?

Oh yeah. That was crazy. Land of the lost. So what's Pete's daily routine, except for working and skating?

That sums up pretty damn good what I've been up to. Coffee, just got a rocking thermos. Just throw coffee in there and go.

(Singing) "I'm picking out a thermos for you! Not an ordinary thermos for you!" What movie?

What's that from? I know that.

Remember the water in the tub, squeezing it through the hands?

Now I'm blowing it. I'm spacing it super hard.

Pretty elegant, actually.

Not bad. Santa Barbara, is she going to school there?

Yeah, just a college student. I think she's got one more year.

How long with her?

I've known her since I was 16. Five years kind of off and on.

In construction, you make a lot of trips to Home Depot, so if I was to call you for an isle number on some nails, you'd have the answer?

Yeah. Getting pretty good at that, knowing the store. Used to be pretty lost, but now ...

You're too damn ridiculous. Neither.

It's a simple question about caulk. Anyway, you have a tool belt like Schaeffer's yet? That would be a good photo.

That's an investment right there.

True. Anything else?

Hello mom. Hope this doesn't make me look stupid.
