Gloss.com announced today the appointment of Peter Hirshberg as President, Gloss.com. Mr. Hirshberg brings great depth of experience to Gloss.com from a diverse career during which he was responsible for launching some of the top Internet brands. The multi-brand site will include major cosmetic brands such as Bobbi Brown, Chanel, Clarins, Clinique, Estee Lauder, MAC, Origins, Prescriptives and Stila. Estee Lauder Companies purchased the Gloss.com site in April 2000. The site is now co-owned by Estee Lauder Companies, Chanel Inc. and Group Clarins U.S.A. Inc.

Mr. Hirshberg is a Trustee of The Computer Museum History Center, a new media advisor to National Public Radio and a Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute. He earned his bachelor's degree at Dartmouth College and his MBA MBA
