Peroxide-curable fluoroelastomers. A processing guide for fabricators of peroxide-curable fluoroelastomers has been published. Typical uses for peroxide-curable fluoroelastomers include o-rings and seals for fuel systems and other vital automotive, aerospace and chemical process industry components. The Tecnoflon Tecnoflon is the brand of fluoroelastomers (FKM) and perfluoroelastomers (FFKM) manufactured by Solvay Solexis (former Ausimont). The Tecnoflon line of fluoroelastomers includes copolymers (N-types), terpolymers (T-types), peroxide cured (P-types), low temperature (L- and  processing guide relates why technical specifiers and users benefit from peroxidecurable fluoroelastomers in place of ordinary bisphenol-cured fluoroelastomers. Advantages are listed, along with descriptions of performance properties in applications. (Ausimont)
