Perimeter Financial Corp. Completes Funding.

TORONTO -- Goldman Sachs, Richardson Capital acquire stake in Canadian financial infrastructure firm

Perimeter Financial Corp., ("Perimeter") a leading provider of technology-based financial infrastructure services for the Canadian investment market, announced today that it has successfully completed its second round of corporate funding, and regulatory approval of its investors, securing gross proceeds of $Cdn 41.2 million.

Perimeter raised the proceeds through the issuance of redeemable preferred and common shares to a group of existing institutional and private investors, senior management, its Board of Directors as well as Richardson Capital and Goldman, Sachs & Co. Approximately 60% of the proceeds were raised from existing investors.

Perimeter's shareholders include some of the largest capital market participants in Canada; Ontario Teachers Pension Plan Board, CDP Capital, National Bank Financial and CI Funds Inc. Richardson Capital and Goldman, Sachs & Co. also announced that they have made initial investments in Perimeter as part of this funding round. The capital raised will help Perimeter expand its business.

Victor R. Simone, Jr., Managing Director, Firmwide eBusiness for Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Jean-Guy Gourdeau, Managing Director, Richardson Capital will be joining Perimeter's Board of Directors. Both investors are also clients of Perimeter.
