Anthony Tillmon "Tony" Williams (December 12, 1945 – February 23, 1997) was an American jazz drummer. , backbone of the infamous Miles Davis Quintet The Miles Davis Quintet was a bebop-oriented jazz quintet formed in 1955 by bandleader and trumpet player Miles Davis.
