Pepsi and Jewel/Osco proceeds benefit park.


Pepsi and four Jewel/Osco locations in Naperville Naperville (nā`pərvĭl), city (1990 pop. 85,351), Du Page co., NE Ill., on the Du Page River, in a farm area; settled 1831–32, inc. as a city 1890. It is a major office and corporate center that grew markedly in the late 20th cent. , Ill., teamed together in November November: see month.  to raise about $1,500 for programs of the Naperville Park District.

"Consumer participation in this kind of fundraiser really shows people's loyalty to their park districts," said Erin McNulty, corporate relations manager for the park district. "It's exciting to be able to bring attention to youth programs."

Shoppers were encouraged to purchase six-packs of 24 oz. Pepsi products for a week-long period. A dollar of each Pepsi product purchased was donated do·nate
