PeopleSoft appoints new CEO, co-presidents, board vice chairman.
PeopleSoft (PeopleSoft, Inc., Pleasanton, CA, www.peoplesoft.com) A software company that specialized in enterprise-wide applications for client/server environments. Initially specializing in human resources, its package offerings covered the gamut including financial, distribution, manufacturing , Inc., a provider of enterprise application software,
has announced that its board of directors has voted to appoint Dave
Duffield, PeopleSoft's founder and chairman, as the company's
CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. . Additionally, the company announced the appointment of Kevin Parker Kevin Parker represents District 21 in the New York State Senate, which is comprised of East Flatbush, Flatbush, Midwood, Ditmas Park, Kensington, and Boro Park. He is African American. (most recently chief financial officer) and Phil Wilmington (most
recently responsible of the company's operations in the Americas)
as co-presidents, and Aneel Bhusri (most recently a director of
PeopleSoft) as the vice chairman of the board. All of the changes are
effective immediately. These appointments followed the board's
decision to terminate Craig Conway Craig Conway (born May 2, 1985 in Irvine) is a Scottish footballer who currently plays on either wing for Dundee United in the Scottish Premier League. Career Conway started his career with Ayr United and made sixty-one league appearances for the Honest Men, scoring as president and CEO of the company,
effective immediately. The board said its decision resulted from a loss
of confidence in Conway's ability to continue to lead the company.
All of these decisions received the unanimous vote of the independent
directors.
