PeopleSoft announces expanded agreements with Princeton Softech, Mercury Interactive and Quest Software.

PeopleSoft, Inc. (Nasdaq:PSFT) has announced that it has expanded its technology agreements with Princeton Softech, Inc., Quest Software (Nasdaq:QSFT), and Mercury Interactive (Nasdaq:MERQ). These lifecycle management technology leaders will provide PeopleSoft customers with increased visibility into performance across the entire applications lifecycle.

Furthering its commitment to customer choice, PeopleSoft customers will now be able to choose their preferred vendor for Lifecycle Management solutions. Today's announcement will allow customers to select:

--Princeton Softech Active Archive Solutions: This solution manages database growth by optimizing performance and maximizing existing enterprise storage capacity. Using Princeton Softech's Active Archive Solutions to separate essential data from nonessential data, companies can safely reduce the size of overloaded relational databases by more than 50 percent during an initial archive.

--Quest Software Foglight: This solution provides a single point of access to quickly and proactively detect, diagnose and resolve performance issues. The solution also leverages information from the PeopleSoft Performance Monitor to present the user with aggregated performance response time metrics.

--Mercury QuickTest Professional, Mercury TestDirector, and Mercury LoadRunner: These testing solutions will optimize quality, performance, and availability of enterprise applications. By maximizing application performance without investing in additional infrastructure, customers can quickly identify and resolve performance and availability problems lowering the total cost of ownership and helping ensure 24x7 availability and performance.
