At PeopleSoft Connect 2001, PeopleSoft (Nasdaq:PSFT) today announced that customers are rapidly adopting its pure internet portal solutions. Demonstrating growing demand for its industry-leading portal solutions, PeopleSoft has signed more than 150 new portal customers over the past two quarters. PeopleSoft also unveiled its new CFO Portal solution, the industry's first web-based, financial portal integrating a company's financial information with customized analytics and external content.

PeopleSoft's Portal Solutions are providing organizations around the world with a single, easy-to-use interface that delivers personalized business information to customers, suppliers and employees. PeopleSoft's leading portal technology features an open architecture, supporting PeopleSoft applications, other vendors' applications, and internally developed applications.

New portal customers announced today include Toyota, Anadarko Petroleum, Rogers Communications, Carreker Corporation, AON Australia, ONET, and Sager Electronics.

Through the new CFO Portal, customers set rules to define targeted financial performance, areas of concern, and tasks that require immediate action. Managers are alerted immediately when key performance indicators (KPIs) are out of range with targets and action is required. The instant notification saves time, ensures focus on operational performance and enables managers to act quickly and effectively.
