Accountancy firm KPMG has appointed STEPHANIE ROACH as an assistant manager in its Newcastle People Services team. Stephanie, from Whickham, brings several years' experience in international executive services to KPM.

Newcastle-based financial software company Scott Logic has made two new appointments.

DEBBIE DONOGHUE, from Jesmond, has been appointed to the board of directors for Gateshead based Weeeco, a company incorporated to lessen the impact on business of the WEEE Directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and the HWR (Hazardous Waste Regulations). She joined Weeeco with a wealth of experience in customer care having previously worked as an account manager in a customer case based role at the North-East Chamber of Commerce for 14 years.

SARAH BAXTER, 27, from Newcastle has joined the region's largest supported housing organisation, Norcare, as Team Leader for its North Tyneside support services. Responsible for managing a team of nine, Sarah will be working on a number of Norcare's projects including Families Fleeing Violence and Housing and Addiction.

Benfield Nissan Gateshead has promoted CHRIS BENNETT from sales controller to brand manager. Chris, 31, has more than 15 years' experience in motor sales at dealerships around the region.
