Cooper Tire & Rubber promotes Piper

James Piper was promoted to materials development manager for Cooper Tire & Rubber. In this position, Piper is responsible for directing development activities related to materials and formulations for new tires, inner tubes, curing bladders and processing aids.

Piper joined the company in 1971 as a chemist in the tire division's materials development department. He has been manager of compound development since 1986.
