Working in the advanced fillers and pigments division, Lux will manage and market commodity precipitated silica products designed for use in tires and mechanical rubber goods. This includes management of Degussa's Ultrasil 7000 precipitated silica. Prior to joining Degussa-Huls, Lux was product manager of specialty silicas at Degussa-Huls AG, headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany.
