The Insurance Education Foundation presented two lifetime achievement awards at the 109th National Association of Mutual Insurance Cos. convention in Washington, D.C.

New York Life Insurance Co. named Joseph Gilmour chief executive of New York Life International, effective March 1, 2005. Gilmour succeeds Gary G. Benanav, who will remain the company's chairman until March 1, 2006.

Littlefield, with 30 years of experience in underwriting, most recently served as president of marine, technical risk and aviation for Quanta. Prior to joining the company, she served the Swiss Re America Corp. as a member of the Swiss Re Division North America Management Board.

Molina Healthcare Inc. named Joann Zarza-Garrido chief executive officer of Molina Healthcare of California. Zarza-Garrido has more than 25 years of experience in the health-care industry, including in physician and multispecialty clinic administration in California.

Zarza-Garrido joined Molina Healthcare in 1992 and most recently was interim CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of Molina Healthcare of California.
