 the release of over $5 billion in requests for proposals (RFPs) on Iraq reconstruction work. Her tenure at the Coalition Provisional Authority, originally projected to be 30 days, lasted nearly three months; the RFPs were issued Jan. 7. The new RFPs cover several vital infrastructure sectors such as electrical and communications work, and program management functions. The Army Corps of Engineers will be in charge of executing many of the reconstruction contracts. Lee's successor has not yet been named.
