Pennsylvania metalcasters play host to federal reps.

In August, key staff from the U.S. Department of Commerce (DoC) Office of Manufacturing were given the opportunity to witness the inner workings of three Pennsylvania metalcasting facilities--R.H. Sheppard, Hanover, Pa.; Wilton Armetale, Mount Joy, Pa.; and Donsco Inc., Mount Joy, Pa. The tours, arranged by the AFS A distributed file system for large, widely dispersed Unix and Windows networks from Transarc Corporation, now part of IBM. It is noted for its ease of administration and expandability and stems from Carnegie-Mellon's Andrew File System.
