A large range of different products are pelletized including chemicals, iron ore, animal compound feed, and more.  lines for compounding, reacting, devolatilizing, and scrap reprocessing Reprocessing may refer to:
  • Nuclear reprocessing
  • Recycling
 from under 50 lb/hr to 5000 lb/hr.

Vertical-ring-die pellet mill A pellet mill is a type of mill used to create cylindrical pellets from a mixture of dry powdered feedstock, such as flour, sawdust, or grass, and a wet ingredient, such as molasses or steam. The pellets are made by compacting the mash or meal into many small holes in a die.  has v-belt or gear drive from 25 to 700 hp. Simple design of power train features two rugged bearings, main shaft, and die housing. Dies available in varying thicknesses and hole diameters, with drive-speed variations to pelletize a wide range of plastics.

 water-ring pelletizing systems feature a hot-cut, water-ring quench quench,

system that separates the die plate from the cooling water. This minimizes sensitivity to process conditions because cooling water cannot freeze or slow the flow of polymer through the die. Energy consumption also is minimized because the knife assembly cuts molten polymer in air instead of a semi-extrudate underwater or hardened strands. Each cutting blade individually flexes and adjusts to the die plate surface, eliminating sensitive blade adjustments. Start-up occurs at the touch of a single push-button (electronics) push-button - A roughly fingertip-sized plastic cover attached to a spring-loaded, normally-open switch, which, when pressed, closes the switch. Typical examples are the keys on a computer or calculator keyboard and mouse buttons. , and cleanout is fast and simple. Two models have throughput rates from 500 to 5000 lb/hr.

Cumberland Marathon strand pelletizers process high-temperature engineering thermoplastics. Units feature long-running. wear-resistant components; and a slant-cut rotor with 48 small, solid knives secured in the rotor by multiple wedges. Thermal stability is maintained with air and Vortex Cooling. Pivoting cutting chamber is split for easy service and for removing the cutting and feed-roll assemblies as a module. Models 6-in. to 32-in.-wide have capacities to 12,000 lb/hr.

Cumberland Quietizer strand pelletizers pelletize commodity resins, including color concentrate and polymers difficult to die-face cut. Helical helical /hel·i·cal/ (hel´i-k'l) spiral (1).

Ultra-high concentrations of pigments and very high-melt indexes can be handled, since molten strand strength is not a limiting factor A factor or condition that, either temporarily or permanently, impedes mission accomplishment. Illustrative examples are transportation network deficiencies, lack of in-place facilities, malpositioned forces or materiel, extreme climatic conditions, distance, transit or overflight rights, .
