Pelletized rubbers, ground rubber crumb and devulcanized rubbers.

This reprocessor of elastomer elastomer (ĭlăs`təmər), substance having to some extent the elastic properties of natural rubber. The term is sometimes used technically to distinguish synthetic rubbers and rubberlike plastics from natural rubber.  based waste and scrap materials which result from the manufacture of industrial rubber goods and tires, and from retreading operations, is featured in a six-page, four-color brochure.

Reactel products featured in the literature include GT and GL pelletized rubbers, MT, MLL MLL - Medium-Level Language.

Required product purity levels are said to be obtained via selection of straight individual base materials, appropriate storage facilities and processing equipment, plus efficient installations to eliminate and separate potential contaminating materials along the process line, according to the literature.

Ground rubber materials are produced according to customer specifications within a narrow grain size range via special sieving techniques. High portions of <50 [micro]m grain size are said to be obtained under economically favorable conditions. At the same time, a well structured grain surface is said to ensure good bonding properties of the ground materials.

The company is aware of the fact that consistent high-level quality is a critical pre-condition for the re-use of ground and devulcanized rubber materials, according to the literature. A test laboratory for chemico-physical properties with experienced personnel has been set up for monitoring the required characteristics of the company's products.

The firm's quality assurance program includes many tests, including one for precise determination of the grain size distribution of ground rubber via air jet sieve LS 200-N, in order to check the fractionation fractionation /frac·tion·a·tion/ (frak?shun-a´shun)
