Pele goes with the flow.

Finding gold and diamonds in the same drill hole is an anomaly onto itself, especially when the exploration team was drilling for one and found the other.

Such was the case when Pele Mountain president Al Shefsky went exploring for gold in Wawa and found a diamond bearing mica kimberlite kimberlite: see diamond.

"To my knowledge it is the only place where anyone has reported a gold and diamond zone right in the same place, literally in the same drill hole," Shefsky says.

Since then, ground geophysics and an airborne survey have been completed throughout the Highland Gold property. The details have yet to be announced To be announced (TBA)

The largest claim holder in the Wawa belt, Pele Mountain Resources holds one of the most advanced properties in the entire camp.

In the coming months the company intends to spend more than $1 million in exploration initiatives.

The Talisker dyke is five to 10 metres true width that extends right up to surface. Only 78 kilograms have been processed from the first drill core. A true macro diamond was identified along with four other diamonds.

"It was over a millimetre in dimension and three-quarters in other dimensions Other Dimensions is a collection of stories by author Clark Ashton Smith. It was released in 1970 and was the author's sixth collection of stories published by Arkham House. It was released in an edition of 3,144 copies. ," says Shefsky, who adds the near surface occurrence could be mined in a cost-effective manner.

"It certainly is going to be getting a lot more attention from us in the coming months."

This kind of crustation is evident in all the economic deposits throughout the world with the exception of recent sedimentary deposits found on riverbeds, lake beds or mountain slopes.

A multitude of companies are staking claims and embarking on new diamond exploration programs in the Wawa area.

Dianor Resources Inc. recently recovered a consistent number of diamonds along a drilled fence of 1,000 metres, in an east-west direction on their Leadbetter property north of Wawa. A total of 63 diamonds, some with commercial characteristics were taken from pit samples.

The largest diamond recovered was a white, translucent 0.328 carat gem from MBP (Manchester Bus Powered) A synchronous transmission standard used in industrial networks. It provides 31.25 Kbps over a two-wire connection that delivers power in the bus and intrinsic safety.  302/Pit 4. Characteristics from the three six-tonne samples show little variation. Exploration is ongoing to determine the diamond distribution, diamond size variation and continuity in outcrops between drill holes.

The Leadbetter property is located 20 km north-northwest of Pele's Talisker dyke.
