Pele Mountain gaining momentum.Two major projects are fueling momentum at Pele Mountain Resources. Company Ltd., Inco Ltd. and Falconbridge Ltd. have claims. Several massive sulphide boulders were found along a newly built logging road about three kilometres south of the Foy offset dike. The boulders showed distinct magnetic anomalies within 300 metres of where they were found. In addition to their news on the Levack property workers have successfully blasted three separate samples from the Festival Diamond project, including a 300-tonne sample from the Cristal occurrence and two other samples from the Deutz diamond zone. Festival Diamond is located 25 kilometres north of Wawa. The 500-tonne bulk sample will be shipped to Lakefield, Ontario Lakefield (population 2400) is a village which is a part of the township of Smith-Ennismore-Lakefield, and Peterborough County, Ontario, although it was formerly a separate village.
