Pediatric Nasal and Sinus Disorders is Volume 199 in the Lung Biology in Health and Disease series published by Taylor and Francis. Like other books in this monumental series, this 2005 volume does not disappoint. Pediatric Nasal and Sinus Disorders is arranged in four sections: Basic Sinuses/Epidemiology, Diagnosis, Medical Management, and Surgery. The 36 chapters and nearly 600 pages are written by experts from 14 countries, including not only industrial leaders but also developing nations. Thus, it provides remarkable breadth and practicality in its insights.

The first portion of the book reviews the latest information on the basic science of allergy and upper respiratory infection Noun 1. upper respiratory infection - infection of the upper respiratory tract

This book is a fine addition to the literature and should be useful for any clinician who cares for children with colds, allergies, or other disorders of the nose and sinuses.
