PediaMed Appoints Chief Administrative Officer.

FLORENCE, Ky. -- PediaMed - The Pediatrics Company(TM), a company specializing in the health and well-being of children, announced today the appointment of Thomas P. Jennings, JD, CPA as Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer.

Jennings joins PediaMed with an extensive background in the field of specialty pharmaceuticals, having served as President of Union Springs, a private equity company, which focuses on starting and growing branded niche pharmaceutical companies. Union Springs and its investors founded PediaMed as well as Xanodyne Pharmacal, Inc. (cancer, pain management) and Integrity Pharmaceuticals Inc. (women's health, urology).

Prior to joining Union Springs, LLC, Jennings practiced private law, where he focused primarily on mergers, acquisitions and tax related issues, and was an accountant with Ernst & Young.

In his new position, Jennings' responsibilities will include leading the legal affairs function, managing contract review with vendors related to products, manufacturing partners and agencies, developing and executing corporate public relations plans, discharging all duties associated with the role of company Secretary, and actively participating in business and corporate development.

Jennings is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University's Salmon P. Chase College of Law and also holds a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati.
