PayPal provides eBay users with buyer protection.
Online payment service provider PayPal has introduced PayPal Buyer Protection in the UK for protecting consumers against transactions on online marketplace eBay.
All PayPal customers that make a transaction on eBay will now be protected from non-delivery of items or for products that are not as described and can claim up to GBP250.
A spokesperson for PayPal said that research has found a third of Internet users are reluctant to spend more than GBP50 over the web while 92% still have general concerns about security.
PayPal Buyer Protection is a free service with no additional processing or administration fee.
