PayPal and Website Pros Announce International Co-Marketing Agreement for NetObjects Fusion; PayPal Shopping Cart Software to Power E-Commerce for NetObjects Fusion Users in Germany.

PayPal (Nasdaq:PYPL), a leading Internet payment service See Web payment service.  and Website Pros, a leading provider of website building tools, announced a co-marketing agreement today that expands PayPal's reach into the largest website development community in Germany. Together, the companies will market the German version NetObjects Fusion A popular Windows-based Web authoring system from Website Pros, Inc., Jacksonville, FL (www.websitepros.com). It provides a visual environment for designing Web pages and can import an existing site.  7 to more than 1.5 million loyal NetObjects website developers across the country.

Separately, Website Pros announced general availability of the German version of NetObjects Fusion 7 today, available at www.netobjects.de. The software is distributed throughout Europe, Middle East and Asia through Website Pros partners such as 1&1 Internet AG, MicroBasic and Softline. The retail price of the software is 189 Euros.

The German version of NetObjects Fusion 7 contains a PayPal Wizard Instructional help in an application or system development environment that guides the user through a series of multiple choice questions to accomplish a task. For the most part, wizards are more effective than the help menus found in most applications, which often border on the atrocious.  that allows website developers to open a PayPal account and add sophisticated shopping cart functionality to their websites in minutes -- accepting all forms of payment including credit cards and bank transfers. The German release follows a successful US launch of NetObjects Fusion 7 that also carries a version of the popular PayPal component.
