The internationally renowned Paul Taylor Dance Company Paul Taylor Dance Company, is a contemporary dance company, formed by Paul Taylor, an American choreographers of the 20th century. One of the early touring companies of American modern dance, the Company has "performed in more than 500 cities in 62 countries"[1]  comes to the Alex Theatre The Alex Theatre is a historic landmark located at 216 North Brand Boulevard in Glendale, California of the United States of America. It is currently owned by the City of Glendale and operated by the Alex Regional Theatre Board.  to premier Taylor's "Dandelion Wine and Fiends Angelical" in L.A. It's the only local appearance the dancers will make this year. Now in its 46th year, the company spends much of its time outside of the country since its "Cultural Ambassadors of the U.S." designation by the White House Millennium Council The White House Millennium Council was an American organization established in 1998 by President Bill Clinton to commemorate the millennium.[1] The council's theme was "Honor the Past -- Imagine the Future.  Program. The dancers promote America's cultural heritage in Glendale on April 6 and 7.
