Patterson Sells Mobile Satellite Connection Interest.

Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of The SPACECONNECTION, Inc., has sold his fifty (50) percent interest in Mobile Satellite Connection (MSC (1) (MSC.Software Corporation, Santa Ana, CA, www.mscsoftware.com) Founded in 1963 by Richard H. MacNeal and Robert G. Schwendler, MSC is the world's largest provider of mechanical computer aided engineering (MCAE) strategies, simulation software and services. ) to Carl Humphreys, President of MSC.

Mr. Patterson, a co-founder of MSC, financed the first-ever ultra compact, state-of-the-art, fully redundant transportable uplink units, capable of transmitting either C-band or Ku-band, analog, digitally compressed and HDTV (High Definition TV) A set of digital television (DTV) standards that offer the highest resolution and sharpest picture. Although some HDTV sets are available in standard (rather square) screen sizes, the overwhelming majority of sets are wide screen, which eliminates  quality signals using a mere 2.4 meter antenna. Today, MSC is a leader in serving the broadcast, cable, sports and entertainment industries utilizing its fleet of specially designed hybrid units nationwide.

In January 2005, Mr. Patterson sold his 100 percent ownership in the corporation he founded, The SPACECONNECTION, Inc., a leading professional communications company Communications Company is a communications unit of the United States Marine Corps. They are part of Combat Logistics Regiment 37 , 3rd Marine Logistics Group (3MLG) and III Marine Expeditionary Force (III MEF). The unit is based out of the Marine Corps Base Camp Smedley D.  that specializes in providing satellite transmission services, to Telesat Canada.

Mr. Patterson has accomplished numerous milestones since the advent of the world's first commercial geostationary Aligned with the earth. Refers to satellites (GEOs) that travel at the same rotational speed as the earth (they are geosynchronous) and are always the same distance from the earth. See GEO.  satellite "Early Bird" in the sixties, including President Nixon's historic visit to the People's Republic of China in 1972, marking China's entry into the world of satellites. In 1975, Mr. Patterson, again, altered the satellite communications scene when he conceived and arranged the very first-ever, live multi-carrier transmission via domestic satellite, plus arranged the inaugural HDTV satellite transmission in 1989.
