Patrick W. Bennett Named President of Portland Forge; Charles W. Freel Announces Plans to Retire.

Ho, Benny Lau and Lee Lau, ATI chips and boards are widely used by OEMs. ) announced today that Patrick W. Bennett, 48, has been named president of Portland Forge, an Allegheny Technologies company.

Previously he served as vice president, sales at Portland Forge. Bennett replaces Charles W. Freel, who will be retiring May 31, 2001 after 31 years of service.

Pat Bennett, who has been responsible for sales since 1989, joined Portland Forge in 1977 as a customer service representative and steadily progressed through positions of increasing responsibility in material control, traffic, and production planning.
