Patricia Mining Corp. Engages Dundee Securities Corporation As Its Financial Adviser.

TORONTO -- Patricia Mining Corp. (TSX VENTURE:PAT)(Patricia Mining) is pleased to announce that it has retained Dundee Securities Corporation (Dundee) as its financial adviser. Dundee Securities will work closely with Patricia Mining's management to identify and evaluate business opportunities that will permit Patricia Mining to maximize shareholders value.

The Dundee engagement is on a success fee basis and builds on the relationship that Patricia Mining and Dundee have built over the past several years. Dundee financed Patricia's highly successful 2004 $2.5 million underground program which facilitated Richmont Mine's Inc. (Richmont Mines) decision to earn into the Island Gold Project.

The retaining of Dundee will allow management to focus upon acquiring advanced stage mineral assets with good exploration potential. In addition Dundee will evaluate potential dispositions and merger opportunities. The objective of these activities is to increase shareholder value by applying management's operating and exploration capabilities with the complementary strengths of our joint venture participant at Island Gold and the business strengths of Dundee.

Patricia Mining is a Canadian junior mining company with a focus on precious metals. Patricia Mining's Island Gold Project, located 125 km southeast of Hemlo, Ontario, has a modern fully permitted, 650 tonne per day mill and related mining infrastructure on the site. Patricia Mining continues to work closely with its joint venture partner Richmont Mines Inc. (Richmont Mines) to explore and develop the Island Gold Project. It is anticipated given the current rate of expenditure that Richmont Mines will have earned its 55% interest in the property by the end of the year and production will commence in mid 2006.
