The Otogram uses touch-screen technology and artificial intelligence to guide patients through their own tests, after some brief instructions from an administrator. The Otogram's ambient noise measurement and management system, combined with specialized foam ear inserts, allows the test to be done in any quiet examination room, without the need for a sound booth.

The Otogram is simple and easy for staff and patients to use. It reduces staff time per test from 20-30 minutes to 5 minutes; can be operated by any staff member, not just audiologists; and allows administration of simultaneous tests by one staff member using multiple Otograms. Results are immediately standardized standardized
