Patent Pending Video Fiber Optic Solutions from MultiDyne at the NAB Show.

LOCUST VALLEY, N.Y. -- MultiDyne will introduce patent pending video fiber optic transport solutions at the National Association of Broadcasters in Las Vegas Nevada on April 24th.

New is the DTV-4000 4 channel SDI (1) (Serial Digital Interface) A physical interface widely used for transmitting digital video in various formats. For electrical transmission, it uses a high grade of coaxial cable and a single BNC connector with Teflon insulation.  serial digital video fiber optic link with 16 Audio channels and the DTV-250 analog and digital audio multiplexer and de-multiplexer for SDI serial digital video.

The latest in the our line of RGB/UXGA high resolution video and graphics fiber optic links is the RGB-5000-DC which gives the ability to daisy-chain one RGB/UXGA source to multiple monitor; the RGB-5000-CWDM 18 channel CWDM (Course WDM) An optical transmission method that is used for shorter distances than dense WDM (DWDM). Also known as "wide WDM," CWDM transmits fewer channels and uses wider spacing between the channels for distances up to 60 km. Wider spacing up to 25 nm, compared to 1.  fiber optic link and the RGB-500-ET RGB/UXGA fiber link with 10-BaseT ethernet and Data.

The EOS-4000 Electro-Optical Switch for Transparent, Point to Multi-point Switching gives the ability to switch any fiber optic video signal from IP to HD-SDI. Optical switching eliminates the need to convert back to an electrical signal for switching.

The MultiDyne DVI-3000 DVI (1) (Digital Video Interactive) An earlier compression technique that provided up to 72 minutes of full-screen video on a CD-ROM. Acquired by Intel in 1988 from RCA's Sarnoff Research labs, Princeton, NJ, DVI never caught on.  Fiber Optic Transport Link provides a transport solution for high resolution, DVI digital video sources via FOUR fibers. The maximum transmission distance is 700 meters. The DVI-2000 Fiber Optic Extension Cable extends the distance limitations of DVI digital video signals to 150 meters. The HDM-2000 Fiber Optic Extension Cable extends the distance limitations of HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) A digital interface for audio and video signals designed as a single-cable solution for home theater and consumer electronics equipment.  digital video signals to 100 meters.

The DVM-3500 Short-haul Video and 4 Channel Data Fiber Link with Integrated Video Test Signals and Self Diagnostics offers state-of-the-art performance exceeding RS250C Short-haul and Broadcast Specifications.

The DVM-4200 and DVM-8200 Video and Audio Fiber Optic Transport provides support for 4 or 8 video, 16 or 32 audio and 2 or 4 data channels, respectively. A one rack-unit, modular tray will house up to three DVM-4200, DVM-8200 or DIM-8200 cards.

The USB-2000 USB USB
 in full Universal Serial Bus

Type of serial bus that allows peripheral devices (disks, modems, printers, digitizers, data gloves, etc.) to be easily connected to a computer.
Fiber Optic Link permits the extension of USB 2.0 signals up to 10 Kilometers. The system supports 4 USB ports at each end of the link. Now the user can extend the distance limitations of USB via MultiDyne proprietary fiber optic link.

The CTOP-800 Series transports 110 channels, Analog and QAM digital CATV (Community Antenna TV) The original name for cable TV. It used a single antenna at the highest location in the community in order to deliver a quality signal to homes in areas with hilly terrain or other interference.  via a Singlemode fiber optic link. Fiber optic transport systems are also available for 70/140 MHz IF Satellite Links and for 950-2150 MHz DBS (Direct Broadcast Satellite) A one-way TV broadcast service from a communications satellite to a small round or oval dish antenna no larger than 20" in diameter.  Satellite and L-Band Links for Singlemode fiber transport.
