Patagon.com Agrees to Acquire a Seat On the Venezuelan Stock Exchange.MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 7, 1999-- Patagon.com International Ltd., the Internet destination for Latin American financial markets, announced today it has reached an agreement to acquire a seat on the Bolsa de Valores de Caracas, the Venezuelan stock exchange, from Heptagon Casa de Bolsa, a subsidiary of Heptagon Grupo Financiero. As part of the agreement, Patagon.com will act as transaction agent for Heptagon Casa de Bolsa on the Venezuelan exchange, processing all buy and sell orders. Patagon.com also announced the appointment of Meyer Malka, a managing director at Heptagon, to country manager of Patagon.com Venezuela. Over the past three years Heptagon Casa de Bolsa has ranked among the top 15 brokers in Venezuela in annual equities transaction volume, and among the top five in fixed-income transaction volume. The firm was founded in 1992.
