Professor of English Norman Finkelstein presents Passing Over, an anthology of free-verse poetry. Originally written in the late 80's and early 90's, Passing Over deals with both religious and secular views of the Jewish tradition, and the parable parable, the term translates the Hebrew word "mashal"—a term denoting a metaphor, or an enigmatic saying or an analogy.
