PassEdge Expands Management Team; Company Addresses Emerging Broadband Video Industry with Addition of Vice Presidents of Field Operations and Marketing.

PassEdge Corporation, provider of DRMV (digital rights management for video) systems, announced today, the addition of Steve Statler as vice president of field operations and Jim Plymale as vice president of marketing.

Recently, the company released its AccessBase(TM) digital rights management for video (DRMV) platform including StreamAccess(TM), the first application for secure streaming video A one-way video transmission over a data network. It is widely used on the Web as well as company networks to play video clips and video broadcasts. IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries) , where he was director of web server solutions marketing for IBM's Web Server Group. He has more than 16 years of experience in high technology sales, marketing, consulting, engineering and management and has a wealth of knowledge of the European market. Before his tenure with IBM, Steve served in several roles at Sequent Computer Systems, both in the U.S. and England.
