In celebration of National Park Week 2000 (April 17-23), the National Park Service and its non-profit partner, the National Park Foundation, introduced the National Park Pass. The $50 pass is good for one year from date of purchase and provides families with a less-expensive alternative to general admission so they can experience the natural, cultural, and recreational offerings of America's 379 national parks This is a list of national parks ordered by nation. The Parks Pass covers national park entrance fees (excluding camping, tour, or concession costs) and includes a Pop-Out[TM] map of the National Parks, a Proud Partner decal, and an offer for the free GoParks Newsletter. Passes can be purchased by calling 1-888/GOPARKS or online at www.nationalparks.org. Those who wish to order by mail can do so by sending a check for $50 to National Parks Pass, 27540 Avenue Mentry; Valencia, CA 91355.
